Health of India in 2050
Globalization is at its peak today and the entire world is constantly changing, developing and evolving. By 2050 India will reach to great heights. Her economy will be the second largest economy in the whole world, technology will be very advanced and India will be the most populated country in the entire world with a population of 1.7 billion people.
With the increase in population in 2050, India will no longer be a young country as it is now. India is one of the world’s youngest countries with more than 62% of the population is in the working age that is between 15 years and 59 years and more than 54% of the total population is below the age of 25 years. So, by 2050 most of the people belonging to these groups will become old hence India will become an old country. The percentage of old age will rise to a whopping 14% from 4% of the total population.
This pandemic situation showed us every aspect of the society we are living in. We saw the condition of the healthcare sectors and how hard it is becoming day by day to protect human life. Even with advancement in the technology will we still be able to fight old age? Won’t life expectancy decrease day by day? There might be a shortage of healthcare services because the country is not yet prepared for this.
